OT : Kratos shows a lot of detail, but this is not a direct capture of the game. See the pause icon in the lower left hand corner. Believe it or not this is a cam pic ! Wonder how the real thing looks like.

And that pic is only 800x446. In other words, the screen is basically in SD. Now, if it does run in 1080P like they're claiming it will, that's a huge leap in resolution (and detail).

880x446 versus 1920x1080? Yummy.

To be fair, the second (new) pic is an off-screen one, whereas the first one is direct-feed. You can't really compare them, because off-screen pics tend to have exaggerated lighting, making them look better than they actually do.

I haven't been this excited for a game's visuals ever since I saw the E3 05 trailer of Killzone 2! This game looks ILL!!

if the game really looks that good, it looks better than uncharted 2 imo

Actually, this is a picture of the game running on a tv !
Which means the actual thing looks better ! However the contrast difference (colours look washed out in the 2nd pic) will not be there.
ITS GONNA LOOK BETTER !
