He said it was stalling not failed and he meant the recent year of software.

This is all calendar year not fiscal.

I'd take that bet.  No way sales are gonna be that low.  I'm not sure they're gonna beat 2008's numbers, but they're definitely gonna beat 2009's.

Being charged for the BEST online of ANY game CONSOLE, is fine with me, games on all 3 consoles are $60 and DLC is not forced upon anyone.

 

OT- I firmly believe the Wii HD will arrive next year. It will have B/C same controller and same basic interface just HD.

I don't get charged for online, games might cost 60$ but when I see the companies result I don't have a feeling they are making billion$ on my back so it looks to me like I am paying a fair price...

And I've never felt forced to purchase any DLC....

You do realize that 18 millions console sold in any given year is actually not low ?

 

For starter Q1 2010 will be significantly lower than Q1 2009 even with NSMBWii.

Q1 2009 benefited from Wii stocks being totally depleted during the Chrismas period and on top of regular console sales, Nintendo spent the whole quarter building up retailers inventory....( coudn't find a Wii in the US on January 2nd 20009 but at the end of the quarters most retailers had Wii pyramids standing on display)

LOL!!  Nintendo's failure is like saying  "We're sorry we didn't sell 60 million machines by the time this report came out.    (Ahead and still better than what Microsoft and Sony are doing.) Even without the (Full) third party HD support.  We'll make it up to you next report....
