Well, not very different to mafia, except that the mafia has a fixed number and the cult starts small and gets bigger

Anyway, Falcon was lie detector, he didn't find anything AT ALL? I mean, I've seen WoW using the role as if it were a cop, without the need to roleclaim

I noticed this too. Falcon, did you just not send in any night actions or what?

Wow, thats just unfair.

I mean seriously, they started with 3, they could recruit almost anyone and they still had their powers, they could kill. Its like theres no point in having a mafia faction in.

what about my mafia a role

i can make u vote someone but i was under the impression thathe cant even hint he was coerced

he even said i asked soleron and cant talk about (seriously man... WTH!!)

khuutra made it so clear that it was someone ability that i didn't bother using it seriously XD

Errr.... when?

Well, here I agree with nen, you didn't do anything to hide that your voting was forced by an ability, it was totally obvious

You are referring to my "please ignore this vote" thing on the second day, I assume.

I don't remember mentioning clarification from Soleron, but if I did it was within the rules.

Look, it was a new role, and you happened to use it on the guy who is known for breaking new roles. I operated as best I could within the stated intents of the power used on me, and I still couldn't communicate this to town or even to some of the cult. I didn't break any rules. I'm not obligated to make your skill more powerful, I'm obligated to o the best I can to circumvent it. it's an sburdly powerful role that damn near crippled me as-is. I am not sorry for anything I did.

So you agree with me

I didn't say u broke the rules, i just said you made it really obvious that it rendered the role pointless, the rules were not clear so it not ur fault

I wouldn't say I rendered it clear, exactly, especially since so much of the town wasn't really paying attention to me at that point.

I mean, it took until Gnizmo's last day for him to figure it out. How clear would that be, exactly?

But yeah

I totally tried to break it, I agree

In the end, I don't see which was the point of the role. Khuutra made it obvious that his vote was influenced, whether he tried or not, so everyone realized it and decided to not follow his vote

Hm. I'd argue that it's primarily good as a diversionary type of power - balanced pretty well for Mafia. If it prevented one from doing anything to hint at the nature of it, or, worse, compelled one to follow through on a vote as if there were a reason for it, then it would be almost hopelessly broken.

I would have gotten it sooner if we hadn't targeted the same person the first night. That put a lot of the crazyness I pulled out in my head. Still it wasn't ever clear that it was a mafia controlled vote until it went after Zexen. Hell, who doesn't vote for me on day 2 normally?
