So, hypothetically speaking, the mafia might have had a player, let us call him artuuhK, vote for someone to clear them of suspicion. An interesting theory, and something I might have tried quite honestly. I am dead today though. Admittedly me fingering the two wrong people isn't helping my cause, but I have an alternative theory that I need to investigate quickly before I go on.

You have the idea behind this hypothetical situation, yes. Paranoia can do odd things, I hope the hypothetical victim can be forgiven.

Let me spin another hypothetical using this player artuuhK and a chronically suspicious player named omzinG. omzinG is a chronically suspicious player who can get band wagoned off pretty easily. In fact, on games where the most likely person to be mafia accused him everyone ignore all evidence an lynched omzinG almost out of tradition. Indeed if there was ever a situation where omzinG would fingered by a potentially insane cop the action the town would take is lynch him.

artuuhK is known to get a bead on all suspicious activity. A vote for him is likely to cause anyone to get a snow ball vote going for them. No matter how trust worthy the player has been up to that point the person atruuhK fingers is likely to face the gallows. Even if artuuhK would be forced to vote for someone it could be bad. If he was forced to vote for someone suspicious, who the town aches to lynch, there is a good chance it would end with an innocent, but strange person gone.

Right now I want to go back and see who wanted to vote for me based on your day 2 vote. Compare and contrast that to our list of suspects and we might get something. It is complicated by my defense of Zexen (who is innocent of being the poisoner) but there should be something there.

One bit I do remember is that Makingmusic was surprisingly silent with his defense of me during the Zexen/day 2 voting. The last few times he has played he normally chimes in "Thats just Gnizmo" cause he knows me. Combined with his lurker status and I am putting him up higher on the list.

From what I could tell only MM, Khuutra, and myself took any interest in the forced vote. Dead end on that one mostly. Nordlead and truck pointed out there was no good reason to vote for me, for whatever that means.
