Why would following the cop be a bad thing? Especially if their investigation comes up with a anti-town result?

There are no insane roles in this game.
If a game is going to have sanities in play, it will be noted in the opening post as it was last round.
Also, in the future for all games I moderate I will ask players before I make the roles if they would/would not prefer sanities.

well, this whole hoo-ha has given us some good grounding.. we know that either one or the other is lying (or this would be one messed up game) so if axumblade is innocent then Sonix is not. unless Soleron messed up the PMs, lol

This is why following the cop can be bad: it ends day too quickly and leaves us in the dark unless the cop gets lucky again!
I chose you because you didn't seem very suspicious so not many would target you over the night. And the results would be rather clean.
If I targetted someone like zexen, the chances are the results wouldn't be correct because of various other roles.

There's no reason to believe axumblade over Son1x in this case. Son1x has no reason to out himself if he's lying, it's a suicide run that would harm his team more than benefit it. Axumblade has reason to lie - it would oly gain him a single night alive, but it would be something.
Of course we're lynching axum, no questions asked. But first we need to get more people talking!
