Because Tekken 6 was released over two years ago.

Actually the arcade unit it ran on was basically a PS3 with just XDR and no DDR3. The arcade and PS3 version are one in the same and were developed at the same time. The PS3 home console version was supposed to release a few months later but then they wanted to add more and they did, now calling it Tekken6BR which releases in Arcades in Japan. Then I would say the game was delayed for about 1.5 years... perhaps a little more...

Its a 2 year old game. Really and truly this game should have came out from late 2007 or early to mid 2008. The game is old and it shows. They really should have released it on the PS3 first then released it with some upgrades on the 360 later on.

I kind of disagree.

The original arcade Tekken 6 was horifically unbalanced, and it's not until several updates and the Bloodline Rebeliion changes that the game has  become very well balanced between all the characters. (Compare early Tekken 6 tier lists to current tier lists and you'll see what I mean) I'm actually glad that the console release is made when Namco have sorted out the balancing issues, rather than the constant adjustments the arcade version was subjected to. That to me matters a whole lot more than flashy graphics.

Because Tekken is a 2 year old PS3 game that was left on hold to port.


What do you expect. They have not improved the graphics since the arcade how many years ago or anything else.

But Tekken is my best fighting game franchise so i will still buy it anyway.

I played it (and own it) as I do Dark Resurrection on the PSP and PS3.  I don't get where the complaints are.  What I see is Tekken is Tekken and there isn't much left that can improve the graphics.  One may complain about the animation, but not the graphics.  The series is feeling as it always has been, in my assessment.

I don't think it looks bad and I don't care about that anyway. I still think Tekken 5 looks great. These games are all about the gameplay for me.
