Forums - Gaming - Which version of Borderlands should i get(PC/PS3)?

Well, the game's based off of UE3, so if your comp can run, say, UT3 well, then it should run this well.

I'd go for the PC version, or, whichever version you know more owners of, really.

Get the PC version. I can't speak for the PS3 version since I haven't played it but I know that the PC version is superb!

On my pc with Radeon HD4890 1GB RAM it runs very smooth and looks a bit better than the PS3 version. But the screen tearing of te pc version is terrible, at least on my system. So i don't know if that is because of my setup or that it's something that bugs the pc-version. For this reason i would go for the PSE

Does it have V-Sync?  If so enable that and it should take care of the screen tearing.  That usually happens when you have more FPS than your monitor refresh rate can support and V-Sync locks the frame rate at whatever your refresh rate is.

It does, but I think you have to enable it via some config file edits.

I know, but i there is no v-sync option in the game, or at least i can not find it.
