^ I don't have a point. This is just an observation for the benefit of people on the Nintendo forums who might be interested.

Much like when someone posted that Smash Bros Brawl was the featured article on Wikipedia a while back. No one retorted to him saying something like 'lung cancer was a featured article in November 2007, what's your point?'

So what's your point, Football fan?

I think as youve stated, the topic has about as much relevance to sales as amazon.co.uk. Infact to a lesser extent. I dont see how its much of a benefit for people to know this.

I think this is a perfect indication of how well WiiFitPlus will perform in Europe. Of course I think WiiFitPlus is under performing everywhere else I would love to see it make a turn around. Under a million copies sold and its been out for a couple weeks, hopefully europe will change that.

Firstly, I didn't even post this in the sales forum. Don't pretend that just because this site is called VGChartz that the forums are supposed to be all about sales. They're not.

Secondly, because you've irked me, I'm going to bite your bullet and say that, on reflection, I actually do think this provides some indication about what sales might be:

Internet searches are an indicator of awareness.

The immediate goal of advertising campaigns is to raise awareness. One of the ultimate goal is to increase sales.

Therefore, companies wouldn't bother with advertising campaigns if they didn't think there was some positive correlation between awareness of a particular product and sales of that product. I think they're right in this belief.

Finally, a quick look at your profile and post history indicates that you are primarily disinterested in Nintendo gaming. So what do you think gives you standing to presume what will be of interest to people in this Nintendo forum? I hardly ever see anything to do with gaming make it into Yahoo's top searches list; it was interesting to me so that's good enough reason for me to take about a minute to post it here and let others know about it.
