the last year and a half has been bad for my consoles. The last 2 games i bought were mass effect and mario kart. Pc gaming has been really good for me lately.

Well Forza, Left 4 Dead 2, Halo Wars, Halo ODST and Ninja Blade are or will be fun (exclusives)
On the other hand we have had or will have Resident Evil 5, Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2, Dragon Age Origins and Tekken 6 as multiplats. 10 high profile games you should get this year.
2010 will be mindblowing. Halo Reach, Fable III, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2 and Natal (Milo!) gonna be epic.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

But based purely on game lineups I say the 360 had/has a better 2009. Of course I haven't gotten a new PS3 and played Uncharted 2 yet.... ![]() |
So for you the 360 had a better year than the PS3, fair enough.
assumption is the mother of all f**k ups

both jap and western actually.
we will see how 2010 pans out on which console provides best games in that given year.

Yes 2010 is gonna be an amazing year for the 360 (and all other consoles by the look of it)
I agree though 360 does look like it has the best line-up for 2010.

Agreed
2009 for 360 was kind of lacking in terms of exclusive software, but I'm satisfied. MagnaCarta II satisfies my RPG needs, a few firefight games in Halo 3: ODST with friends can also be fun, Forza Motorsport 3 is an amazing racing sim, and soon to come is Left 4 Dead 2, which I know will be awesome since the first one was loads of good fun. PS3 software was better this year for sure, though, with Killzone 2, inFamous, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time all delivering great experiences. And December will be huge for the Japanese.
2010 is going to be an amazing year for all consoles.
I just wonder how Natal will fare.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

The lack of Mechassault on your list saddens me
I played plenty of stuff on the 360 this year no matter if it's 1st or 3rd party. Next year is a beast on 360 and PS3. Can't wait
Off the top of my head..between Fallout 3, and all of its expansions, Shadow Complex, South Park Tower Defense, Halo Wars, Halo ODST, Star Ocean IV, Beatles Rockband, Bionic Commando, and UFC undisputed this year has been a very fun and productive year for me and my friends. I need to pick up borderlands, dragonage and MW2 to finish out the year, and then I get to start with ME2 and Bioshock 2 early next year. PERFECT
