Forums - Nintendo - TOP 5 : Better "mature games" on the Wii

I'm 40, so you could say that i'm "mature"...

But my Top 5 "mature games" on Wii will be EXACTLY THE SAME as my "regular" Top 5 games on Wii: Metroid Prime Trilogy, Okami, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4 and Twilight Princess...

I don't understand the difference between "mature" or not, except that some games are too violent for my kids, just as some movies are... but a gore movie may be (intentionally) very immature... and also very good and very funny: Street Trash or Bad Taste, by example...

While some games or movies, made for everyone, children and adults, may be very mature... and they may be very good, or very bad: it doesn't say anything about their quality anyway...

Are the Pixar movies mature or not? Are the Studios Ghibli movies mature or not?

And who cares anyway? Enjoy the best, and forget about the worst...

you are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters.

I say Metroid Prime and Trauma Center are good "mature" titles.

^ The conduit(Horrible), madworld(too short), dead space, world at war(wii version) all sucked imo.

If i'd make a list of games that are "mature"
1. Zelda: the twilight princess
2. Metroid prime 3: corruption

I know these games aren't by any means mature, but I think older people will enjoy these games more then 8 year olds. Luckily I also like to play games that are "childish" like mario, super smash bros, etc

Well your standards are quite high. None of those games "sucked" on average, despite their problems. I found enjoyment out of them and therefore I would never qualify them as "sucking". What I do agree with is the second part of your post after that though.

That's why I added in my opinion after that sentence though :) People can like games that I think suck, I have no problem what so ever with that :P

I know. I just wanted to express how surprising your opinion was to me.

Mature as in M-Rated due to blood, gore, and naughty words:

No More Heroes
Madworld
Manhunt 2
Godfather: Black Hand Edition
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition

Mature as in made for mature grown-ups instead of the traditional male 12-25 bloodthirsty demographic:

Big Brain Academy
Endless Ocean
Wii Fit Plus
Wii Music
BIT.TRIP Beat

Some people can't see the "+" in "6+" or w/e :P
