Good list

Unfortunately the Wii mass ownership dont agree

3.5m sales for all of those combined! thats a disgrace... isnt it?

When there are much better games (imo) that are outselling them I think not. Those are the mid range of good games on the Wii. The upper range sells what they deserve in realistic terms. 3.5m for those combined is a great number. Now take away the outlier that is Residen Evil Wii Edition, and you get a better argument.

no it isnt.

Oh really? Let's see what we have here. A port, a spinoff, a short game, and a toned down multiplatform release. The only game that I would consider a good value at $50 is The Conduit. Also 3.5m/5 is 700k. You think the average "core" Wii game should be above 700k? Damn, the standards these days. There was probably a time where developers were estatic to get 500k sales let alone 700k. This is all considering that there is much better Wii games on the market.

Around the Network

metroid prime trilogy
zelda twilight princess
super mario galaxy
resident evil 4 wii edition
zack and wiki

When I get a Wii, I do plan on getting most of those games.

Maybe you should compare those numbers on other systems. For example 360:

Halo 3

Cod4

GTA4

CoD:WAW

GoW

Even the lowest selling game sold almost twice as much as those wii games combined.

1. Action Girls Racing
2. Backyard Baseball '09
3. Monster Trux Arenas -- Special Edition
4. London Taxi: Rush Hour
5. Offroad Extreme -- Special Edition

I kid you not, these are actual Wii titles, I can probably come up with a even more awesome list if I did more digging.

Ign was very generous what they gave that game 0.8 to be in fact...

That is definately not the "average" for the 360.

How about we put the above average for the Wii too.

Mario Kart Wii - 17.84m

Super Smash Bros Brawl - 8.69m

Super Mario Galaxy - 8.17m

The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess - 4.34m

Super Paper Mario 2.82

You can argue that they are too mainstream, but I can say the same for all the games you have listed with the exception of GoW. So please, try again. The highest selling games =/= average.

I guess this thread was about "mature" games. How many of those games you listed has E-rating?

Uh, what kind of comparison is that?

Let's compare Mario Kart Wii to all the 360 racers, and see how MKWii outsells everything combined. Does that mean Forza / NFS / PGR / etc have bad sales?

And, then the Topic Creator changed it to "core" ones. Either way, I was arguing toward these "Non-Mature" games being better deals, making there less of a reason to buy the "mature" games. On the HD consoles, the best games are "Mature", therefore they sell better.

Oh, did not notice that. Then forget that I said anything. :)
