I guess after all the PS3 sales predictions ppl are just scared to be disappointed again. Your prediction is pathetic. Do you really expect 90k. Or are you just lowballing so you can tell yourself that the game sold well when it outsells your prediction??

OT: I predict 300K first week sales.

You mean like average first week sales of 690k and real first week sales were 760k of KZ2? or average First Week sales of under 200k and real first week sales were 260k for Infamous? (and some thought Infamous would also launch in Japan too which it hasnt yet.)

I don't know why you think 300k is a reasonable prediction the first one did 120k.

I say it does 150k first week

The devs are hoping for more than the previous installment, so I'll giv'em 300k first week, although I'm thinking 200 - 250k would be nice

Does it have a world wide launch or does it have a staggered release? If all 3 territories I'd say in the 250,000-300,000 range, 1.5-2 life time (if bundled).

Overall I expect sales similar to first (Cheaper PS3/increased install base offseting deceased fanbase sales due to lack of originality/saminess).

Around the Network

this game should have a opening of at least 200k-250k, the franchise has sold over 16 million copies, yet it is still so underrated why is that?, and guys does other count, asia, australia and new zealand sales, are they all included in others.

200K week 1

& this saddens me

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I think first week sales around 160-200. Will have legs thou.

They're actually doing commercials for the game with the "Dear, PlayStation" series. So I would expect sales to be in line with Tools of Destruction, but since the install base has grown over the past 2 years, I expect to see more.
