Been there. It'll come in time.

Jun 3, 2008 = no plans

Oct 21, 2008 = released

Except Tales games are notorious for not getting localized. I'm not trying to say it will never come, but this is a poor argument for it. I could make one including the fact Eternal Sonata PS3 sold less than the 360 version (including Japan), so they will not localize Vesperia PS3.

Eternal sonata had no advertise... OBVIOUS it sold bad!

Tales of Vesperia instead has become "famous" with the "360 beta" story. If it will be released, it will sold BETTER than on 360.

But now it' s SURE that Troy Baker is a big liar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? *_* We have still no clues about localisation or no-localisation. This thread will be closed on April 25th.

I think it's important to note that Eternal Sonata PS3, for the US release - had a bit over one month between the announcement and then the release.

And the actual US PS3 release was a fraction over a month after the JP PS3 release.

And when they announced 'no plans' for Eternal Sonata PS3 localisation, that was 3 months before the Japan release.
With Vesperia, they've announced 'no plans' for the localisation, that's 4 months after the Japan release.

If we're using Eternal Sonata as the basis for localisation, that time frame has well passed.

And, well, i'm still hoping ToV PS3 US comes out... but i'm just not expecting it to anymore.

Ok, let's use a Tales of for a comparison: Tales of the abyss was released USA TEN MONTHS AFTER the JPN release, and its localisation was announced four-five months after the JPN release.

Btw, might be bad news for ToV PS3:

Might be good news, too. If they can't afford to make new games, they'll have to give us old ones!

Lol didn't think about that. But no! I think Namco Bandai will opt to localize stupid Wii games instead. Like this: (^____^)

Muscle March in mah Tales of Graces.

Yeah, that's true.

I used the comparison to Eternal Sonata because it was a game that was ported from 360 to PS3, as was Vesperia.
Whereas, Abyss was just the straight release.

I'd like that Abyss timing to be true with Vesperia PS3... another month or so yet to wait.

I'm guessing I'm just fairly ignorant of what's going to happen on April 25th? Is that the day we should be giving up on ToV PS3?

no this is it people, ive now completely lost any hope and beleive that this is no longer going to be released. im sad about this as it was one of my most wanted RPG's but its time to just call it a day, namco bandai for some reason just are not going to let the rest of the world see all the new content added for the ps3 :(
