I think what everyone's forgetting here is the $50 million Microsoft paid for it to be exclusive for a set period of time. Unless Rockstar wants to pay it all back, I doubt this is happening.

The best you can get out of these publishers is a timed exclusivity deal.  If you want something permanent, you're gonna have to bargain for IP owernship.  Hell, Ninja Gaiden II was published by Microsoft, and it still went multiplat after a year.

Microsoft gave Rockstar a $50 million dollar loan. Unless Rockstar wants to pay that back I highly doubt that it will ever be ported

You just repeated what thekitchensink said.  >_>

And like I said, the best deal (you know a deal, involving money, like $50 million dollars) Microsoft or anybody else can hope for is a TIMED exclusivity contract, unless they obtain ownership of the IP.  If they don't own the IP, anything can happen once the contract expires.

The Toys R Us boxart is wrong. If it came to PS3 it would be the new style PS3 logo and everything.

Not to mention there are loop holes. There are also escape clauses. Contracts are to protect both parties. If a contract is too one sided for one party the contract is actually vioded... but this wouldnt be one of those instances since 50 million means it isnt one sided.

I hope it does.

PS3 owners hope it is true, as we were truly shafted by Rockstar Games (who were at one time a loyal publisher to the PlayStation brand.

I'd rather have Agent and/or LA Noire then DLC for GTA4

How very relevant. You just sound like a PS3 fan you know.
