Xbox 360 is undertracked then!!!!!

Thats not what I said!

I only mentioned it seems a little bit strange that there are 2.1 million consoles shipped (sold to retail) but only 1.45 million sold to customers. At the moment there would be enough Xbox 360s on stock for 10 weeks. No retailer would need to order a Xbox360 for more than 2 months.

Wouldn't that be 5 weeks;

And 50% Xbox live revenue thank you SC and Trials HD!

(And damned bring DOOM II, PD and Serious sam on Xbox live arcade now!).

Where are you guys seeing the Live 50% increase?

view powerpoint presentation and page 15.

XBL revenue is FAR more than SC and Trials HD. Sure they did well, but having 12 million people all paying up to $15 for the three months is more important.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

another 3 quaters like this and the 360 will have made over a billion in profit in one year.

Ah, thanks.

I guess nice profits are what happens when you dont drop the price.

2.1 million shipped, vgchartz article predicted 1.9, so they beat that by a little bit.

The same vgchartz article predict 2.65-3.0 million shipped by Sony in that frame, so we'll see.

For that earlier post who asked, pretty sure 360 shipments were 31.4m going in, so add the 2.1 and now stands at 33.5. PS3 was at 23.8 (Sony doesnt report this Q for another couple weeks though).

Since it's quite possible to ship 6 mi in a holiday quarter, 360 should be approaching 40m shipped by 2010. Not bad, and they'll have probably at least 2-3 full years remaining, during which they should ship at least 10m per, meaning it should end at 70m, but possibly quite a bit more if price cuts or Natal cause more sales, and/or it has a long tail after the next console debuts like PS2 did.

Very helpful, thanks.

All around impressive numbers, Xbox Live profit of 50% is just crazy, but hey it's worth it. As for the shipping of 2.1 mill units, like Seece said, it's in preperation of the Holiday season, and it works out for the price drop. Microsoft knows how to make a profit.

Holy cow!

Entertainment and Devices, revenue steady and profit up 100%, Office, revenue and profit down 10%, Windows, revenue down 40%, profit down 50%!!!

It looks like XB360 and XBL are doing quite well and also that MS will better keep on diversify.
