I didin't feel like playing Uc1 again..
Was close on inFamous tho.
And I think yea it was that spot Kantor.
And I got 40gb.

I've had no freezing and I play on an 80gig. I'm in the same boat, OP, I don;t usually platinum games but I will platinum Uncharted 2

I'm on my third playthrough and I have yet to have the game freeze.

Yeah, it froze on me too. Chapter 25, the three way fight part. Froze on Normal, Hard & Crushing setting for me, same chapter everytime. It did the same thing on my brothers. PS3 Slim & 80GB PS3 Model. But..well all is forgiven, as I have the platinum trophy..haha!

Thats exactly what happened to me. Only once so far though. I'm on my 3rd play through. I did however run into a huge glitch but I don't think it was the games fault. I had a power surge and it shut off my Ps3 and tv... I got a red blinking light and then I turned on my ps3. My disc didn't read so I restarted the ps3. When I loaded up U2 I couldn't kill anyone with melee attacks. I'd punch them and do the slow motion finishing blow and they'd fall but then they'd poped back up and already be swinging. They were already in mid swing when they poped up too... Once I was fighting 2 people and knocked someone down and went to punch the other and I just poped on the one I just knocked outs back and broke his neck... then I went to attack the guy again and I slide between the guys legs that I just broke the neck and punched him in the groin... I just restarted my Ps3 and everything was running smooth again.

Yep! pick up a weapon, or the treasure located there in Chapter 25 and bam..crash. Yeah, It does start after it though so all is fine.


@TruckOSaurus - haha! yeah. Well I'm not that young. :) I did play Demon's Souls for 56 hours too and finished it. It ok when your on holiday :)

Yep, my PS3 froze on my near the end too. When I picked up the last treasure(100th) on the stairs that lead to the final scence.
But the save worked fine for me. I was on the same stair after loading with the last treasure in my pocket ^^. Happy me. I though it was just me, good to know i am not alone :D

My PS3 hasn't crashed or frozen at all playing Uncharted 2, even though I've beaten half the game on hard with the High Speed tweak on. Not even the fan has made any extra noise and it's an original 60gb PS3.

I dont think it is the PS3's problem. It is the game itself. You have to do certain things in the game to "trigger" the froze.

Its really minor, most people will need the break before the last boss after all, lol.
