They actually allow non white people to join but their views are strict on not allowing non British to be apart of the BNP. Hence they say Britain should be run by Brits and ideally White.

He has got over 1 million votes, i cant believe people were protesting against him, we are suppose to live in a democracy!

The protesters were disgraceful some even forced an entry!

Freedom of speech is no longer tollerated by a certain sector of people. *sigh*

I dont agree with him but as a MEP (a very popular one) he has the right to voice his opinion without being branded Hitlers brother etc

Forget about the newspapers exaggeration and hear the man out, sure hes got controversial opinions but at least let him try to explain his plans.

I think his/partys views are disgusting, but yes, he has the right to appear, I sincerly hope they show him and his views up for the pathetic bigotry that they are.

over 1 million?

idk the figures off hand, but I think its less than 1m...

the main issue people have is with the fact his views are borderline racism/xenophobia

and btw if people here actually bothered to vote in the EU elections like I did, he wouldnt even have got elected...

Even traditionally labour conservative and lib dem BBC admit it was 1 million.

Estimates vary between 800,000 and 1.1million

Protest vote or not, they still got a hell of a lot of support. You can't deny the massive support. People only have themselves to blame for not voting, NO SYMPATHY.

your own link, the Channel 4 one, says this "they polled 943,598 votes" thats less than 1m

thats kinda my point, people SHOULD vote, especially if they dont want people like the BNP elected

Ye near enough to 1 million.

If the communist party got that amount of support i wouldnt stop them from being on question time, people shouldn't prevent BNP.

The issue is whether the BNP's views break the law also, racism is illegal, if they are found to be in breach of the law...

the BNP having that support is bad news for this country and something we need to address, we should better educate people about the benefits of immigration and why the BNP's views are vile.

@fotballfan

indeed... the green partty were on question time long before they ever got 1m votes... and I find them equally offensive.

wtf?

the Greens are harmless utopians, and you find that as offensive as the BNP? borderline racism/xenophobia is MUCH WORSE than any Green party policy ive heard of...

Do you not think it's offensive to discount someone's point of view because you don't like it?

The BBC have every right to allow the BBC on tonight. They are funded by the tax payer. They have no allegiance to one government or political party, they have an obligation to the public. If the BNP are asked to appear on a BBC programme then both parties have every right to do so.

Even though I despise the BNP.

Jack straw has already gone straight for the jugular. First few sentences and he's hammered the BNP already
