Kojima gives praise to MW2, UC2 and AC2

It seems Hideo Kojima has praise for the big games that have either just been released or on their way to retail. He spoke in the latest Famitsu magazine and said;

"...I think there are three games that stand out above the rest of the pack in the remainder of this year. One is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, one is Uncharted 2, and the third is Assassin's Creed II. Those three are just incredible."

He's right though, Uncharted 2 is probably the best game available on the PlayStation 3 (see our review here). Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is going to be an instant hit with FPS multiplayer fans whilst we'll be bringing you a hands-on preview of Assassins Creed 2 next week when we'll be heading up to London for the 2009 Eurogamer Expo. Life's Good.

I would ADD dragon age origins in there too!

Well they do stand out but I guess it would be nice to have some of the new IPs stand out as well. Can't say I disagree with him though. But would also throw in there Spirit Tracks, NSMB Wii, and Dragon Age: Origins.

they are the other possible AAA titles this holiday!

AC2 :C If its anything like the first one, i can't approve of it being among the other two titles.

I don't see why people don't like Assassin's Creed. I had a great time. It had a interesting story, and by the time that it was over I wanted to know what was going to happen to Desmond. I also loved assassinating targets.

New Super Mario bros Wii??? Zelda Spirit Tracks? Silent Hill? Final Fantasy XIII? OMG there's something really bad with the Japanese!

Yes it wasn't anywhere near as bad as people said.

Its a very good game actually, it just had too much hype behind it!

Kojima is talking about technical feats accomplished? or his personal taste? He is beteer spending his time on making Castlevania Lords of shadow not suck.

It depends what you like. If you want driving games, Forza 3 is the best you can get right now. Demons Soul and Borderlands seem to be amazing...with borderlands being my GOTY candidate. Anyone that plays games with freinds will love both.

Lots of impressive stuff coming out other than those 3...just because the game looks technically impressive on paper doesn't mean it will be fun to everyone and everything.

I'm in agreement with his views on the 3 big titles that stand out above the rest for the remainder of the year. These are the ones (besides Forza 3 really) that everyone is anticipating. Best of all, 2 out of the 3 are multiplatform.

I didn't like AC because it was repetetive, the pick-pocket stuff was boring. The assassinations wasn't as free as they made it out to be. All targets was done the same way basicly. Even though it was an "open world" each mission had very limited ways you could kill your targets.

And the travel back and forth to your master and the training was just plain bad.

Melee and combat was just hack and slash, no finess to it at all.
