Well as we all know now the DS can't sell Core gamers. The third party market just can't seem to have any strong market penetration. In comparison the core market of the PSP is thriving and seeing all sorts of killer games that are very often financial and consumer hits. This should come as no surprise that we know that the PSP is 10 times more powerful. The third party developers just have a palate for for high end developement and don't want to take the DS seriously. Nintendo has just spent too much effort into the DS expanded market to manage to capture enough of the core market. I believe that those of the Nintendo philosophy should maybe just move on.
As an example of good games not selling on the DS

Nintendo made the DS for the expanded market and now they are suffering selling to the core gamers. A pity, really a pity.
