Forums - Nintendo - Wii Owners - A question regarding Wii Fit (I need advice!)

So would Wii Sports/Resort be good to get as an addition to Wii Fit Plus?

EA Sports Active is pretty intense, even on the low settings. I would stay away from it for a 60 year old person who needs to lose 50lbs. If she was already more active, then I'd say it is a great game.

I was going to mention that that as well, that EA Sports Active may not be for her if she is just beginning, forgot somehow. Good game, though for the fun factor, imo there's nothing like Wii Fit Plus (I can say that even though I don't have it yet because it contains all the games from Wii Fit, plus 15 others..).

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

Wii Sports comes with the WIi (unless you're in Japan). Wii Sports Resort is a great addition for any Wii owner, whether they are looking for exercise or not.
Yes you can get a workout out of both versions, but again, you need to persist. The exercise related advantage of Sports Resort is that you can't really cheat (in WIi sports you can get away with just barely moving the remote, though I never did that since it took all the fun out).

errr just make sure she's not alergic to everything electronic.

My dad still asked what the play button was on a disc player 2 years ago (umh... yeah I hope my memory isn't inherited from him).
My mom is email friendly but not very techy... and will never touch a computer game (unless she's bringing it back for me, unknowingly, in an amazon.co.uk package)

I got wii fit for my GF and my sister, both liked it a lot... the usage ratio tends to drop after the first few weeks though, but the daily test are a good way of making people come back (they "age" you with 2 tiny tests to see your fitness, it's fun when it gets better day after day).
