thats very unfortunate. i had my package of a dsl modem left outside on the street by the mailboxes, but i got lucky i managed to get it on the morning it was delivered on a hunch. delivery really sucks if u live in apartment or gated houses that has its gate permanently locked.
anything I order from amazon fits in my mailbox, I don't think amazon can do anything.....they might say that the owner is expected to be present when the package arrives. though I remember on time when my sister ordered her guitar from amazon the UPS guy rang the doorbell
