Got it day 1. Haven't finished it yet, but it's a great game. A bit traditional for my liking - Twilight Princess or Majora's Mask (my favourite) dared to stray farther from the formula. But the controls and puzzles are really fun, and the boss battles are fantastic so far.

It's a little embarrassing: I think the "hourglass dungeon" is quite hard... I've run out of time 5 times already. Gotta say that I've got a very bad sense of orientation, though.

*Minor spoiler*

Wait till you reach the ice temple.

*shock* there's an ice temple? NO WAI!!

actually, the ocean temple is much harder than the ice temple or any other temple by far.

I was reffering to the ice temple's awesome and clever boss :)

ah I thought you were referring to the bolded text, not the red underlined text... you clearly need to point this out earlier =)

I didn't like that boss fight, to be perfectly honest... thought it was a bit silly. But there's one in every version it seems (witch twins in OOT readily come to mind)

That's as far as I've got in the game and I really loved that boss; are the upcoming ones even greater??? *drools*

Got it and beat it.

Only gripe I have is the Ocean King Temple (Hourglass Temple). I hate running content over more than once when it is entirely useless that I do.

Technically, each time you ran through the Ocean Temple, there were new treasures available for you to obtain with the new items that you.. had acquired. There's quite a few force gems in that place.

But yeah, it was kinda annoying.

Big Zelda fan, the wife picked it up for me, but she started playing first. I knew the stylus was used heavily in the game, but I was unaware that it was used for the ENTIRE game with no option to use the D-pad for standard movements. This at first turned me off before I even played it, as I haven't found a DS game that made excellent use of the stylus for movements and just a general decent control scheme.

Well Phantom Hourglass changed that. I find the controls are very fun, all the fun things you can do with some of your items you acquire makes the game very enjoyable. The boss battles so far have been great, and it's a fresh change to the standard Zelda scheme, but still remains true to its roots. Definitely a worthy purchase and should be on everyone's Christmas list who has enjoyed Zelda games in the past.

I didn't buy it day one but got it on Friday. I had to sit in a bare home for about 3 hours with no internet or TV so I needed something to do. I definitely like the game and the controls and I love these type of games on portable systems better than consoles.

Got it day 1 in the US but hadn't gotten around to playing anything but the battle mode until this weekend and now I wish I had more time to play it, too bad I have to work. :p

PS: Battle mode is fun, too.

I will probely get it on October 30 my birthday but I bet my brother got it I really hope this game is good it is my top DS game for the year.

My dog is way beyond my ranking list than you.
