Sony fans are an easy target because Sony dominated the last two generations (actually more than dominated but that is beside the point) and now while they have fallen to third for the moment and are not in control it is easy to single them out and pick on them.

To the people who think Sony fans are the worst I can easily give you examples of X360 fans and even Wii fans who are just as bad when it gets down to it (although Wii fans don't usually get hateful too quickly). Let's all have a group hug and move on. Oh yeah and Seece and Carl, I want a group hug with just us three lol

I dunno about this. The Xbox fans this gen are more tame than last gen. Sure there are some bad eggs, but nowhere near to the level of mad PS3 fanboyism. Forums drown in it.

I respect your opinion STAGE but I disagree. I have left sites because of X360 fans. Neither X360 nor PS3 have any room to talk when it comes to having bad eggs. Hey that is just my opinion though, to each their own.

I have to disagree bro. The PS3 fanboys troll other threads demanding everyone realize the greatness of Sony and what is known as the PS3. The Xbox 360 and Wii fans are nowhere near on par as far as fanboyism going. I am not saying they don't exist (because they do), but they  are nowhere near the level of PS3 fanboyism. Go on Youtube, they are there. Go on Forums, they're there. Go to Gamestops, they're there. As I said before, they feel emotionally like they have to step in for Sony's horrible PR and embellish everything known to man about Sony products to justify their single and only purchase.

PS3 fanboys claim Gametrailers.com is biased and don't even know why they even bother with the site. They don't leave it and they flood the forums every single day. Look at the topic flow in that place....it is astounding the lack of lives some of these people have.

Dudes, even in VGChartz, there are hardly 1 or 2 360 threads in the front page (not to talk about many times that there arent any)
How many threads do you remember about ODST? The game is awesome, it sells like hot cakes flavored with stardust, and... ? What, 3 threads?
Go to some major sites.
Every F''''in 360 review, preview, news article is flamed and given bad score (in this shitty "User Score" thing).
I didn't notice bad scores in Uncharted 2! (it is great and it deserves that kind of behavior)
So many examples. I must say that I have abandoned favorite sites just because of these attack.
And the situation since September... oh, God, it is almost unbearable... Hundreds screaming like girls in delirium for PS3 selling good... in Japan!!! Do you really remember anyone screaming like crazy when 360 crashed PS3 last years' holiday season in America?
Oh, gosh, I can write 2 pages and the bad thing is, I haven't constructed my passage well. They are just random examples. So, unless I want to be unfair to some people, I stop here. You get the meaning, don't you?

(PS. The really bad thing is that the majority of the ..."bad" PS3 Fanboys, seem to TOTALLY forget about their argues last gen). Remember? The tables have turned...)

I will just say this. For every one bad Ps3 fanboy there are two good ones

There's bad fans (aka fanboys) on all sides.

An argument can be made that since Sony is 'losing' that the Sony fans are the most vocal currently, trying to voice the positives for their system while feeling it is being neglected.  However, it is still a fact that there are loud and obnixious fans on all sides.
