To be the 50th person who says this: The controller doesn't matter. Like a posted before I only own the game for PS3 but most of my friends own it for 360. When I play it over their house or they bring it over, most of the players online are far worse than on the ps3. I contributed this to the "Halo" mentality. Controller DOESN'T matter at all.

Yes, actually it does, not to you, but you are in a minority. Most PS3/360 owners (not counting the forum fanboys) will choose the 360 over the PS3 because the 360 has a controller better suited for FPS. Like it or not, that is fact.

Also, skill level has nothing to do with anything here, the competition would be much like the Battlefield 1943 one. Who can get X number of kills first? Obviously More players = more kills, end of discussion.

More kills does not equal better K/D ratio.

360 gamers easily. There is an established esport-scene on the Xbox 360. far more players are playing competitive in teams.

Look at gamebattles.com ... There isn't even a Pro circuit on the PS3. Really, this is NO competition.

Controller does not equal skill. Like it or not, that is fact.

The same player can be JUST as good with one controller, and be the same on the other.

To add that on, I think a lot of people prefer the dualshock over the Xbox 360 controller because the dualshock is much easier to get a grip of.

Please.. PLEASE explain to me how one controller is better than the other, both the shooting and aiming buttons are in the SAME spot.

But we aren't talking about K/D ratios. That is a pointless argument, the Battlefield 1943 competition was for MOST KILLs not best K/D spread. That is the best way to do it because it encourages people to actually play the game instead of running in, playing on game, owning some noobs to get a 2.0 KD spread, then never playing the game again.

Well if you look at the leaderboards on both systems ps3s players have more points and kills. While the number 1 guy on XBL has hacked and no one could ever TRULY catch him.

Yea, it says that Xbox live players got to the kill limit first, not that they had a better K/D spread.

@Pharaoh That's because it is relevant, Battlefield 1943 is the only game I know of that did any kind of a competition between the two consoles, if you don't like it then please bring up another kind of competition between the two console games that would work for a FPS. The way Battlefield did it is probably the way COD would do it.
