I agree with "Stephen Totilo", and I would be a step ahead. Replace the "voices" with "beep beeps" that are less annoying and I will be happy.

^That's pretty funny...

As long as Capcom approves the handling of these matters I won't mind, but i too am worried if content is to be removed. As a completist, purity is key here, but if there is a great deal of redundancy in the original that needs fixing then I'll whole heartedly support alterations to the small points of the original.

Are the viewtiful joe games worth checking out?

Yes. If you're good at 2D melee action games VJ will fit the bill. VJ2 is also good, but, ya know, sequel.

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

Once you beat Okami and start a new game+ you can skip cutscenes. They just have to implement that option for the first playthrough as well.

Fighting Orochi three times was annoying, plus all the other bosses a second time. That's Clover. Same in the Viewtiful Joe games, but I think in a game like Okami it's sort of misplaced to fight the same bosses again at the end of the game. Then again I don't want them to cut this out of the game, unless they implement new content instead of the four repeated boss fights at the end of the game.

There's nothing wrong with the collectibles in the game, although warping for free would be nice.

But if the game is only a port of the PS2 game with good Wii controls I am happy with it as well.

You said everything about this that I wanted to in the exact same way. So,

well said Rol.

Okay skipping cutscenes is okay but I never had that intention because I loved it.  I don't had that repetive feeling with Okami =/.  I loved it.

Uhm and you can warp for free =/.
