Forums - Sony - God of War III DLC Challenges Rooms.

God of War 3's director Stig Asmussen thinks a good way to keep players involved beyond the single-player campaign is through downloadable challenge maps. Speaking with GamePro, he acknowledges the game will ship with a certain amount of challenge rooms, with a possibility of adding more, via DLC, at a later stage. He mentions a challenge in which players have to ride a Cyclops and kill a certain number of enemies in a time limit, possibly using "the Cyclops to get through a certain type of hazard or area or something like that."

Asmussen notes that creating challenge maps occurs late in the development process, but hopes that things move beyond the planning phase within "the next two months."

So what do you all want to see with potential GoW III DLC? Challenge Rooms would be interesting, but I would also like to some episode like stuff as well.

i think its pointless. Unless its free i wont be dling it. id rather perfer real dlc where it actually expands on the single player campaign. This is just not worth it

Yeah, but this is the final game though... I hope they wrap everything up with the original content, and not have extra, future stories.

Maybe some prequel stories? But that was Chains of Olympus...

What exactly do you mean by actually expand on the single player? Extra stories? Like I said before I wouldn't like that. Non-story levels? That's pretty much what's being offered...

I dont really care what it is as long as it is free. In the next 6 months I will be dumping over $100 on God of War titled games alone, the least they could do is make it free.

That is true. I liked when they released God of War II and it had the extra dvd in there that was all the behind the scenes stuff and they charged the normal 50 dollar price. It wasn't a "special edition". Everyone could get it.

If it costs money, I'm not paying for it.
