No.

Umm obviouslly you bought a psp for the wrong reason. And you probably should've researched it before you bought it.

no? A 16gb ipod touch is $299.. a 32GB ipod touch is $399 and it keeps going.
honestly the amount of shit spewing in this thread is sickening, thats like me posting in a wii thread and saying "LOL HONESLY WII IS A PIECE OF .." you would get banned for that, but you wont get banned for spewing trash about the PSP GO?
Its worth it, memory stick micros are actually CHEAPER than regular memory sticks. Also, the PSP GO has alot more features than the PSP 3000, like the PAUSE GAME feature, and the BLUETOOTH internet wifi feature. |
Umm...first of all Ipod touch is 299 for 32 gig and 399 for 64 gig.

Secondly, all of you are saying memory stick micro is cheaper. Maybe at US amazon it is but ehre in Canada it really isn't. Its about 40-50 for 4 gb and 60-70 for 8 gb.
However that is not the point... The point is that I refuse to buy a memory card that is only used for the PSP. Sony Ericsson phones dont use Micro Memory stick anymore but Micro SD. It will be a one time purchase until PSP 2 comes out which will use Memory stick pro duo micro Versus.
Nevertheless, the PSP is back at Future Shop...all is well.
I'm still going to buy one as soon as I can afford it. After having a hands on with it, I fell in love.
| disolitude said: Im sorry if I sound a little pissed here...but thats cause I am. So I bought a PSP Go today. $250 is quite steep but I figured it could replace my current PSP for gaming, my Zune for music and video playing and I guess its worth 50 bucks if I sell those 2 for 100 bucks each. Yeah 16 GB is quite small for my audio collection alone, as I have 60 GB of music, let alone my gaming and videos on top. But not to worry, I own an 8GB and 4 GB memory stick that I use with my current PSP. But hold on...PSP go does not support memory stick!?!? It needs memory stick micro... Thats a very greedy move Sony. Memory stick was introduced what 4-5 years ago? And its just starting to come down in price and cost similar to an SD card memory... So I'm supposed to spend another 100 bucks on extra memory when I own a Sony proprietary memory card? Complete BS. PSP Go is on its way back to Future Shop. They can sell their recycled hardware to someone else... |
got damn, wtf u be listening to, 60gb of music, i only have like 5-6gbs
Sony have always played a very dirty but profitable game when peripherals are concerned.
I remember the Memory Stick 1 Memory Stick 2 debacle.
Totally incompatible and screwed their own royally.
They are not the only company to have trod this path (cough Apple) and in recent years they have moved away from it.
Never the less CAVEAT EMPTOR.

3 reasons...
1. I needed a portable solution for now
2. I would like to play some PS3 exclusives but none of my freinds are on PSN, so there is no rush
3. My gf told me NOT to by a ps3...my birthday is coming up soon...hint hint :)
Yeah the Sony propietary thing sucks. Thats why my new mobile isnt a sonyericcson.
