Well this isn't technically the same thread although the subject is getting a little tiresome so if this descends into more fanboy wars it is likely to get locked again

There are no fanboy wars in this thread, were just discussing the badges.

I like the badges, I like knowing who owns what and showing which consoles I own.

You can tell when somebody is trolling or not without the badges so I don't think this changes anything.

I have only one badge Megaman.

Whats your verdict?

I share some of the concern regarding the badges -- in part because they do not go back past the current generation.

I only have the Wii this time around -- whereas I have all three consoles from the last generation (four if you count the DC), all three from the one before that, etc.

But since you can remove them, then they are fine.

Ironically, when someone enters a thread and makes an off-putting comment (one that goes against the grain without any justification or evidence), the first thing I usually do is to check what games they own to see if they are speaking from experience or spite.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I agree the xbox, ps2 and gamecube should be added to the roster.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
