I think Alan Wake looks better personally, great atmosphere, lighting etc but UC2 is excellent also. What about Metro 2033, that game looks spectacular also.

The amount of small details and the animations in the 4a engine is impressive. But the character models aren't too impressive, and in certain parts of videos, I saw some screen tearing on the ground textures.

I dont really care anymore which looks better cuase on a technical side halo reach engine beats both games in terms of AI, tesselation, Graphics etc........ but i dont care hte only hting i would like in a game i buy is to enjoy it nad it having accpetable graphics not ps2 graphics more like halo 3 graphics.

Doesn't Alan Wake look a lot like Nathan Drake? If it wasn't my imagination I would say most shots posted are fake.

Both games look great, come from talented developers, and will surely delight me for hours.

Past that, who fucking cares?

I'd like to see some actual AW daytime gameplay, than we can start comparing. Those light effects in AW can be compared to KZ's lighting, which is also superb. In pure detail and animation I think it's UC2 hands down.

This is in-game (NOT CG):

Alan Wake has better lighting effects and cleaner environments but Uncharted 2 has much more detail.

We need more Alan Wake screenshots.
