Now I'm a huge JRPG fan and one of my regrets is never experiencing Skies of Arcadia. Now I have the option to purchase either Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast) or Skies of Arcadia Legends. Which version is better and which version is worth my money? Also is there a Wireless Dreamcast controller?

Skies of Arcadia Legends:

- Less random battles
- One additional character
- More missions
- More ennemies

It's a very good game. It might be hard playing it today because of the graphics but you'll love the game if you don't mind that.

SOA one of my fave games ever.
Me I loved it enough to get both versions.
SOAL has some sidestory stuff but does not affect the core game really but fun to have.
The sound quality is worse on SOAL not by much though.
SOAL does make a few minor edits in cut scenes to fit it on the cube disc.
SOA is on 2 disks.

In the end I don't think either one is really better or worse,mostly just minor differences. Either one you can't go wrong.

As for controller,not first party and never heard of 3rd party one either but  you can easily find a cable extender cheap.

Get the Dreamcast version! This is the original. They downsampled the music to get it to fit on one gamecube disc! The Dreamcast version is 2 GDCD discs. (1 G each) The music score is one of the highlights of the game, don't miss out!

Yeah right Soriku, you just admitted you don't even like the game. Maybe if you played the Dreamcast version first you would have liked it. Such a touching story in Skies...

Get it for the Gamecube, dont listen to Soriku he thinks ToS is the best RPG EVER

Skies of Arcadia Legends.  Fantastic game.

I've played FFVII about 3 times this gen. I wont mind if the graphics are a little dated
