You think Crysis 2 on PS360 will beat UC2? or just Crysis on PC?

Seems there's no argument that PC graphics, on a super gaming rigged PC, beats console graphics. And it seems some existing PC games outdo UC2. So it seems there is little point injecting PC games (or PC versions of games) into the discussion. It's like asking who is the better rugby team: England or the All Blacks? It's the All Blacks, always has been always will be.

Other than that I got nothing. Haven't seen enough of any of these games to be quite so unequivocal about who will beat what. All I know is that the only game out of those 6 I really want is GoW III regardless of graphical comparison to UC2, and the only other game I'm pretty sure I want is Heavy Rain.

Textures really pop in HD. This game truly is incredible presentation and gameplay-wise.

From what I've seen from these games they look good but the environments are not as beautiful as in Uncharted 2, except maybe Assassin's Creed 2 set in Venice and it looks really nice.

I reckon that from that list, God of War III and Heavy Rain would provide a strong challenge for Uncharted 2 and either be on par or top U2's graphics.

Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed II would provide a good challenge for Uncharted 2 that may have a chance of being on par with U2 graphics but unlikely.

Rage? Meh dunno.

Alan WAKE?!!! SERIOUSLY?!! Challenge Uncharted 2 visually?!!! Two words... NO and NO!

There are two games that I think would beat Uncharted 2 visually are Gran Turismo 5 and Crysis 2. GT5 has no problems beating U2 in graphics and after watching the CryEngine 3 run on the PS3, that alone can beat U2. CryEngine 3 is AMAZING!

It wouldn't really be hard for Gears 3 to look better than Uncharted 2 given that Epic plans to release it on the next Xbox

I don't think any of them will come close to uncharted 2 except maybe god of war 3. I guess time will tell.

Where the hell is Lost Planet 2??

No one mentioned The Last Guardian which has better graphic than all games mentioned. It might beat U2 in environment.

I am sure that the people trying to compere Uncharted2 with other games visually have not seen Uncharted2 in action

@Veit: are you actually compering it with lost planet2? lol What do you think about the borneo level in uncharted2?

It's out doing its job, ie pushing out good graphics for a fast coop game.

But seriously, when it comes to visual prowess it's not near the mentioned games. More in the range of Gears of War, judging by the demo and the videos. And so far from Uncharted 2 that it isn't funny... have you played U2?
