Hmm, in all honesty, I am surprised that this game scored a 38/40 for PS3, given how many articles I saw about framerate issues/other minor flaws.

I'm also surprised they've given out a third 40/40 this year :(

This game will probably bomb in Japan, America and Europe is where it has a shot at selling well.

It doesn't matter how well it's reviewed, reviews don't sell games.

bububut I counted the frames and it dropped to 28 for 0.23 seconds... 28 frames per second man it's hell on earth.

Bayonetta and Tekken 6 both release on the same day in Japan.

2 famitsu points is worth the outlay for a new console.

If anything this will boost PS3 sales... japanese will see the perfect score for Bayonetta which is synonyme of a must have game, and then they'll see the PS3 version has a near perfect score (= same but with minor flaws), since FF is just around the corner I'm willing to bet this will probably be seen by many as a further incentive to get a PS3.

I hope it comes out in the west before the end of the year. But I know it won't :/

woah a new ip in japan does not give hardware boosts lol the thing that may give the 360 a boost is the price cut of the elite, but with silm momentum and ff13 around the corner for japan i doubt it will be any more than a minor increase perhaps up to 10,000

lol, wow xbox 360 must of paid big bux to get these reviews, but there wont be any hardware boost, ps3 is the most appealing in japan, umm SONY is japanese, and the ps3 has allways dominated in japan no matter what game or what time
