Forums - Sony - God Of War III will not have mutiplayer but maybe DLC.

Call me spoiled but I have always been more into the multiplayer side of things.  One of my favorite games of all time is Age of empires and It had a fantastic multiplayer (better than its campaign).  So if it could do it all of those years ago why can't we have one now with GOWIII?  Whenever everyone else on the entire planet (with a small exception) does as well?

I'm guessing play PC games. Doom was released in 1993 and it had multiplayer.

Someone was seriously thinking about implementing a multiplayer mode in a series that is known for having awesome singleplayer modes? What the heck is this generation doing to the minds of gamers?

Call of Duty 4 single player campaign was awesome...but the multiplayer made it OMGWTFBBQ awesome.

 

If developers actually tried, they could make both single player and multiplayer awesome.

Why is it so hard to believe a game can have wonderful Single and multiplayer?  The only reason they don't want to add it is because it will cost more money and  they know they can get away with not adding it.   After the game is done, then they sock it to ya with DLC.  While I love DLC it shouldn't be for multiplayer.  It should be for expansion packs.
