God Of War III will not have mutiplayer but maybe DLC.

What a weak excuse for not including multiplayer. There could have been a wonderful type of horde mode. And the sad thing is it probably wouldn't have been very difficult to add something like that. There is no way that it would detract from the story mode. It was just a basic excuse as to why we get shafted with no MP.

Once I get another PS3 this will be a rent not own game. Unfortunately..........

I wonder what you did when almost no games had multiplayer, which wasn't that long ago.

Call me spoiled but I have always been more into the multiplayer side of things.  One of my favorite games of all time is Age of empires and It had a fantastic multiplayer (better than its campaign).  So if it could do it all of those years ago why can't we have one now with GOWIII?  Whenever everyone else on the entire planet (with a small exception) does as well?

Call of Duty 4 single player campaign was awesome...but the multiplayer made it OMGWTFBBQ awesome.

 

If developers actually tried, they could make both single player and multiplayer awesome.

 

Why is it so hard to believe a game can have wonderful Single and multiplayer?  The only reason they don't want to add it is because it will cost more money and  they know they can get away with not adding it.   After the game is done, then they sock it to ya with DLC.  While I love DLC it shouldn't be for multiplayer.  It should be for expansion packs.
