Why is PS3 fans more vocal then the Wii and 360 crowds on most big gaming websites/forums?  Lets look at the whole picture.  The Wii have a market share of 48% and the 360 have about 27% but the PS3 have only 23% market share.  By logic, there should be alot more Wii and 360 fans but on most Gaming Site I go to there is always more PS3 fans.  There is always more thread for PS3 exclusive games then the Wii and 360 combine.  I'm just curious.

It depends on the sites you go to, and your own biases and perceptions.

If that the case I would think there would be more Nintendo fans.

Maybe it's the marketing. Many of the people who went out and bought a wii and 360 are the people with low budgets who want a fun console, and saw the ads on tv or were reeled in by some form of advertising.

And sony's lack of advertising and higher-price console drew in the forum trawling gaming fanatics who were looking for something with a magical quality (teh c3ll) and a long line of awesome franchises they just want to talk to their buddys or their internet peers about all day.

The people I know with Wii's don't browse the internet that much, the people I know with 360 browse but don't discuss. And the people with PS3's are the ones talking on the internet : )

That's just my theory though. I don't know for sure.

Playstation fans are more passionate.

I think it's because there tend to be more Sony fans who are more excited and more involved in gaming in all it's forms, including talking about it on a website.

However, I disagree that all sites are dominated by sony fans.

I've never noticed more PS3 fans than 360 fans. But I've always seen a lot less Wii fans than PS3/360 fans, on every site. If it is true, maybe PS3 fans are just more enthusiastic about their games?

I didn't say all, I say most.  For example this site have alot more Sony Fans then both 360 and Wii fans.

The thought of my nan hyping up New super mario bros Wii is just too much for me to handle ;)

Most people i have seen with 360 are like 8 years olds screaming at the screen playing COD. Too young to read good enought to spam the forums ;)

The ps3 was so expesive only gaming geeks brought it. So hence the is more people on the internet banging on about the PS3 ;)
