Wrong again.  That game might sell a mil plus neither game on ps3 (except Lair) flopped. Most Wii games flopped like MP3, EA Wii-only Titles or EA sports games.

Being that I'm feeling lazy, I'll let the comments from his post speak for me:

Metroid Prime 3 has sold .52 million copies without being released in Europe.  It still consistently sells more than 15K a week and will most likely hit 1 million in America alone.  Heavenly Sword has sold .22 million copies and sells less per week than Metroid Prime 3 despite being out 2 weeks less time.  It will most likely end it's life at .5 million in America at best.  Ninja Gaiden Sigma has sold .25 million copies, sells less than 5K a week, and will be lucky to hit 400K lifetime.  

You are correct that EA sports titles and, er... Boogie, have done poorly on the Wii, but if you consider Metroid Prime 3 a flop guess how many games are on the PS3 that haven't flopped? Two games.  That's right, only 2 PS3 games have sold over 500,000 copies in America.  Resistance and Motorstorm.  By that same standard, the Wii has 6 games that have sold over 500,000 copies in America (not counting Wii Sports of course).  It's pretty obvious which system has more trouble selling software. 

@ speedbreaker, wtf? warhawk=flop heavanly sword=flop, al ea games sell better on 360/wii, so i do not see what you are talking about.

anyway, back on topic. xbox 360 mediocore? it has had its best line up ever this year, i dont see how the ps3 will outsell it.

I think I'm starting to doubt SpeedBreaker's objectivity. No More Heroes, Z&W and Mario/Sonic Olympics are going to flop? On IGN Those three games are constantly under the "hot" forums. MP3 hasn't been released anywhere but NA, so I wouldn't compare it's sales to the worldwide sales of Heavenly Sword or Lair... Unless you want to make yourself look even worse by MP3 having sold more than both of those, despite being in only one territory.

Most 3rd party developers (or all?) have complained about the poor ps3 sales, including Capcom, Square-Enix, Namco, EA etc. However most of them have praised their strong sales on the Wii.

We always see Financial reports with quotes like "thanks to strong Wii software sales..." from 3rd party developers.

However i guess that you know more than all the videogames developers in the world and you also have more power in the industry than they do.

these threads (and arrticles) are totally pointless, the fact is as the ps2 was so dominant last gen we've never seen the console War this even before and the wiis controls throws something even newer into the mix.

These so called analysts are just spouting thier opinion and they are in the dark as much as we are, thats the internet for ya - anyone can claim to be an expert.

I might create my own sight and call myself a console analyst... "I predict the Wii will sell more Nintendo titles than any other console this christmas"  there's my first prediciton
