Forums - Nintendo - The vgchartz ranking game--The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes!

8.0, gameplay got dated, lots of backtracking, dead and boring NPCS, WOLF FORM,

8.5
Played trough most of it.
Somewhat desolate and static.
Nice puzzles.
Inovative caves but I'm not a big fan of caves

7.9

Good game but Okami was better easily.

I got it for the Gamecube. Anyway, this game was done right. The pacing, graphics, battles, weapons, dungeons, story, environments, scope, they all come together to make a classic. I still don't have all of the Poe's!

As the game progressed, you'd gain new weapons/items. Each time you earn one, you think "This is so awesome! It can't get any better!" and invariably, it does. The game always gets better. It never gets frustrating. It never grows stale.

Years after I've put down Gears 2, Uncharted, or Arkham Asylum, I can see myself playing Zelda again, and smiling. It's timeless.

10/10

I think the Ball and Chain is still my favorite Zelda item ever, in spite of how limited its use was (outside of smashing everything on the planet).

one of the first games i bought for the wii. one of the best zelda titles ive played in recent years. great graphics, cool items and plenty of places to explore. followed the zelda formula to a t

i was disappointed by the lack of music score, i felt like the melodies were lacking. the wolf mode was more of a chore, looking for those fairy things.

hyrule field was what i always thoughti it should be, large and with plenty of areas to venture though. although it did feel empty and a pain to travel though.

the temples weren't as inspiring as previous zelda games. the sky temple was pretty awesome though.

exploring the world of hyrule felt invigourating and like a real adventure. the items in the game were interesting, but it felt like they weren't used as frequently as i liked.

overall, it was an amazing game, an awesome way to start gaming next gen. the game doesn't hold a candle to majoras mask, as i felt that it didn't take many risks and stuck to the formula too much

a 7.8/10 :)

I've refrained from commenting on scores up to this point but this confuses me. The OP's scale used here has a 7 as average (I find this deplorable). How can "an amazing game" only be .8 above average?

Good, fun Zelda game. Not as good as Ocarina, nor ALttP. Had some issues with the controls, especially shooting from the horse.

Otherwise fun.

9.7/10.

Pros: horseback swordfighting and chase scenes
you turn into a wolf
Midna is one of my favorite sidekicks, and definitely the best of any Zelda game
dual-wielding the best item
fishing
point and shoot controls for archery, boomerang, and others

Cons: not as good as Link's Awakening
It was a launch game, so I could barely ever play it for the first few weeks. It was impossible to take Wii Sports out of my Wii until every person I'd ever met came over and played it for 10 hours each.
