Forums - Gaming Discussion - Your most satisfying moments in multiplayer games

What are the most satisfying moments you have had in a multiplayer game?

I would have to say that my most satisfying moment would be when you kick someone off a ledge in Uncharted 2 multiplayer. I hust love when you run up to someone who thinks he is going to pull you off and then kick him in the face and have him screaming "What the fuck!" as he falls down.

It is either that or getting a headshot in Gears of War 1. I just love that popping sound. Pop.

So what about you?

Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.

We didn't emerge out of the stone age because we ran out of stones. Its time to be proactive not reactive.

my replays from the gamecube version of super monkey ball. 99% of them are "how the fuck did I do that"

A 0 to death chain grab with Ice Climbers still makes me smile :) And Captain Falcon's triple knee combo

I wouldn't consider those the best things but they are pretty dang nice.

Battlefield 1942. Haven't had as satisfying MP experiences since that game. Just the crazy ass "I shouldn't be alive moments"...

When I would race towards a captured outpost alone, as an engineer in just a jeep seeing two tanks and several silhouettes moving around there. Back then, I knew I was either crazy good or just crazy so I already stacked my jeep with explosives. This was 2002 prior to Iraq and hell did it work, slamming my jeep into a tank bailing in the last seconds to detonate the dynamite.

3 minutes of fighting later and I killed 3 infantry with a bolt-action rifle, took out another tank and downed both a messerschmidt and a Stuka... and preparing for a counter-attack. You can't create such tension in any other game but it leaves you so full of accomplishment.

Mine was being the last guy on my team alive while playing Horde Mode in Gears of War 2. Everyone was watching me and cheering my name. I felt pretty damned proud when I took out the horde. Of course, we all died during the next wave.

Not playing online, I'd have to say taking on all comers in Street Fighter 2 or two player Tetris Attack (BUY THIS GAME) back in my younger days will always be a fond memory.

*honorable mention goes to Super Mario Galaxy when I was playing co-op with my (at the time) five year old daughter. She was trying so hard to help me out, grabbing star-bits and shooting Goombas. She was so proud of herself, and I was proud, too!!!*

Best moment Sneaking up behind snipers in COD4, go to the XMB bar and message them to look behind and then knife them as they try to run

On the Foundry map in Halo 3, I tossed a grenade by a guy standing next to some explosive barrels and launched his body all the way up to the ceiling. Probably my favorite kill.
