Or was it always just wait until 2008?
What happens if 2008 reflects 2007 all over again with Xbox 360 selling well and Wii selling insane every month.
Then we move to 2009?

Cool link, Ashadelo. I likes ... and the PS3 was supposed to sell like 5 million systems in the first 6 months. Sony's getting thumped in 2007 - we'll see if 2008 is any better, but I doubt it ...
at first it was 06, then it was march, then it was june, then it was july, , then it was the holiday season, now most are already looking to spring 08.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
There are some AAA tiltes and cheaper ps3's coming out next year, I expect sales to be double of what it did this year.
2008 end of year predictions:
PS3: 22M
360: 25M
wii: 40M
they were expecting better from ps3 but still 07 is not over and 08 is a very important year for them
Wasn't it supposed to sell well FROM START? :P
At first it was in 06... kinda ok there, but then 07 too... nope, now 08.... maybe not, then 09... and go on like that.
"Playstation 3, you will see, will be far and away the winner when you look at it by March '08"-SCEE president David Reeves, July 13, 2007.
when the next gen systems come out that's when PS3 will really take off! 10 year lifespan, people. The first five years are just a warm up!

Basically every single major release has been supposed to start "PS3 domination" ever since the console flopped upon launch.
So far it hasnt come to fruition (With the hyped titles being Lair, HS, Virtua Fighter) but there are bigger games coming next year. Personally I think its too little too late but we shall see.
