First day sales of new released game in Japan. MusouOrochi(PS2) : about 200k (and second day : 100k) DragonBallZ(DS) : about 30k (maybe 2days sales?) Crayon Shin-Chan(DS) : about 15k (Maybe 2days sales?) AC4(360) : about 10k Rogue Galaxy Directors Cut(PS2) : about 8k Mist of Chaos(PS3) : about 3k source : http://ameblo.jp/sinobi/ In addition, normally new released game is out Thursday, 3/22 in Last week. But 3/21(Wed) was a holiday in Japan. So some soft was released 3/21.

Glad that AC4 came out in Japan finally. I saw it in a Best Buy yesterday and was thinking "what in the world?" Hopefully AC4 will end up with 20k, but 16.5~17k seems more likely. First week in awhile (like 4 weeks) that 360 s/w beats out PS3 s/w? Will the 360 get a boost from AC4, or not? Great numbers for MusouOrochi. Maybe a PS2 game will be #1 for the week.

Probably no. In Japan, AC series is almost the something of past. So there is few people to buy XBOX360 for AC4... However some great game for XBOX360 was determined, XBOX360 in Japan is still in the dark...

According to VGCharts, the PS3 increased in sales by 10%, the week that AC4 came out on PS3....Could we see a similar jump? Who knows. What is this PS3 game? I've never heard of it.

We gotta stop using acronyms. I'm never sure whether people are talking about Armored Core or Ace Combat. Heck, when I see "AC," the first game I think of is Animal Crossing. But I don't think Animal Crossing 4 is going to be on the 360.

The PS2 still has a huge install base. Expect a few more PS2 #1 hits before the console is phased out completely ;)

Ouch only 8k for RG Directer's Cut I was atleast expecting fairly decents numbers for that game

Ya but think about it. The origanal game sold what 200,000? Director cuts most of the time dont even sell half of what the origanal did. Yet I am surprised since the creators of DQ8 made this game (which sold I think 7 million or 6) only sold that much.
