Not sure why this was never considered newsworth other than it is not console related. It does have sales ramifications with pre orders being cancelled but again mostly related to PC sales.

It does not matter now I guess as it missed the boat for the news section. The petition has slowed now with 150,000 but only ticking along at a few petitions and hour.

It got bumped by the 'feature' on video game characters with 'taches.

Over 160k people have now signed the petition against the removal of dedicated servers in MW2!!

Still waiting on more details of the IWNET. I think most people assume it is P2P which seems logical, I am hoping it is a scalable server farm of dedicated servers but that seems most unlikely.

I have decided not to boycott the game. So should I pre order from a normal online store such as Game or Amazon or go for the Steam pre order. Both are charging about the same price, does piss me off a bit that Steam charge the same as packaged goods but it will definately mean I will get it for the weekend when I need it most. I would be interested to hear others views.
