Mrs. Average has a much higher correlation with Mr. Average when Mr. Average has a high score. Which actually makes sense, since in those cases we're either almost all underpredicting or overpredicting so the scores don't cancel each other out for Mr. Average.

Well, I guess I don't have too much to complain when taking overall first place (as well as first place for all home consoles combined)

Yep^ those results looks the same as mine (only checked the totals but if they don't have mistakes twould be unusual to have two cancelling mistakes in the same persons data)

I will update them later.

I am really struggling to tell what's going to happen next week, particularly as the adjustments now have the Wii increasing 200-300k from Black Friday week to week 6. As far as I can tell everything should be down next week (PS3 certainly given it should fall in Japan... actually I haven't looked into past FF launches, maybe the software spike causes a more rounded bump in hardware sales, but I am doubtful)

The overall first place seems to me to be the best thing to win here (of all the 18 or even 28 things [counting highest week and total sales] you could win).

Looking forward 09tarheel has all consoles going up next week as one of the few, but week 10 could make a whole lot of difference with drop offs in the range of 40-60%.

Don't count on that mil christmas week bhr. Remember that the slim is fairly new and tretton said that they might see shortages. After a huge black friday (which I expect), it's going to be low the enxt week, then really high, then only slightly higher xmas week

That is true, if I can pick one to win I would obviously go for the overall win.

@BHR: Second time you beat me by 2 points to take the week btw. Well, I have 4 second places already (one joined), I don't think anyone will beat that!
