Forums - Nintendo - Today I played NSMB

Today I went to the Wizard world big apple comicon.

Nintendo was pretty much the only game company there (THQ was there but no wii games) Nintendo had a massive area

NSMB was really fun. It felt like mario with tons of  new things like platforms and suits. Yoshi was not fun to use. once you got hit while you are on it, it runs away and you have to chase it. It was prettty annoying. The penguin suit was like flower power except when you hit a flower thing that comes out of the pipes, it turns into a lock of ice that you can use to reach higher platfors flr example. The game Really was not that hard, I doubt I will use demo play. multiplayer was fun and complete madness. when you died you came back in a bubble and you have to shake the remote to make your bubble touch the other player to come back alive.

I also played the obstacle course wiifit+ minigame. It was fun but sometimes it was frusterating.

Pokemon Rumble was also there and I had a blast playing it. It was quite fun multiplayer too. you basically go on this short linear adventure fighting pokemon realtime and collecting these coins. sometimes (pretty often) when they died you could go collect them and then use them. after you finish  if you are playing multiplayer it shows who beat the most pokemon. I will definantly download this.

So I had a great time. If you have any questions just ask.

Sounds like our Yoshi!

Yes.

Lucky you. I can't wait for the game.

Sounds like a great game, as well as Pokemon Rumble (Although I must admit my taste in Pokemon spinoffs is quickly waining)

About Yoshi, well, he was like that in SMW so, I'll agree with the above poster and say that's our Yoshi!

I just wish they would branch the spinoffs more. Stop making them into series. I don't need 3 mystery dungeon games, 3 rangers a generation.

Yeah. I guess Yoshi is like that. Pokemon Rumbl might get repetiive but for the time I played it it was quite fun. My favorite pokemon was Krabby with Vicegrip.

ah cant wait for this game, luck you

I agree. The Mystery Dungeon games were alright when they came out, but now, its just redundant, and they barely improve it. The same with the Pokemon Ranger series. I just wish they made Pokemon Stadium 3. It was a good concept. Or maybe something along the lines of Pokemon Colosseum or XD. I just want a game where the formula stay the same and is on par with the handheld versions of the game.

As long as Yoshi moves like Yoshi's Story Yoshi (and it appears that he does), i'm in.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Awesome!

Was the pausing when something happens (grow, shrink, death) and how annoying was it on a scale from 1-10?
