They have reviews on the run still But Victor always overrates and the other guy always underrates and even if you average their score it's still not right
EP is so crap because usually about some new music tech or movie instead of game tech
AOTS I still enjoy but their missing alot of their original aspects.
Xplay is decent but they stretch everything out so long so you have an hour of 2 mini segements
And Btw I live in Canada here we don't have Cops or cheaters so I don't what your smoking We still have Code Monkey and Aqua Team Hungerforce but ATHF is getting a little creepy in this new season

MontanaHatchet said: What they need to do is get tons of game and dare shows. They should start airing more Ninja Warrior, MXC (hell yeah!), The Man Show (let's not pretend that any girls watch G4), and a variety of other shows that were canceled long ago.
So, you want them to become the dumping ground for old contenf off of Spike?
theprof00 said: they care too much about ratings now. Soon they won't even be a gaming channel they'll just be another usa or tnt.
They used to have a lot of great shows. judgement day, cinematech, code monkeys, aots (only when it had Kevin Rose), icons....
Judgement Day was a terrible show especially when they put it right after X Play and X Play trounced it in every way. Tommy on Judgement Day was there to stir up a storm to try to get ratings but that only works for so long, hes an excellent musician I give him that, but man his opinions on games was all over the place at times so much so that his ratings were unreliable.
AOTS was good while it still somewhat had the Screen Savers guys.
Icons was good for learning a few things about the industry greats I give them that.
Code Monkeys made G4TV for a few years there was nothing but that and Ninja Warrior to watch.
Also add in that tournament game, I forgot the name of it, but it was fun to watch people battle it out.

C'mon man judgement day was really great, tommy tallarico's reviews were all over the place, but it was an entertaining show, it didn't really matter how the game was ranked.. in fact, if I remember correctly the scores were based out of 4! 4 is a terrible number to accurately sum up a game. It was still entertaining.
2. agree, and I wish they still had tech shows, because aots only showcased maybe 1 or 2 tech items and that's it.
3. Agree
4. agree
5. I hated that tournament game, there were only like 6 episodes and the gamers were not that good. They were pretty horrible actually.
What they should do:
Create a talk program where people can debate about things, everybody enjoys a good argument.
Start playing professional tournament gaming rather than as a tv game show.
Introduce a new tv game show like the one that used to be on fox/WB way back in the day where at the end, participants ran through isles full of video games and consoles like a shopping spree. Or, just start airing that show. EDIT: called Video Power
Bring back tech tv
Create a developer preview show to visit gaming studios and see some of the projects they are working on.
Reviews on the Run is alright, but they just don't get some games. EP is fine too.
I dunno if they air it in the US too, but Unbeatable Banzuke is excellent. Some of the challenges are stupid, but some are absolutely hilarious. The one where the team of people have to throw each other up and grab onto suspended punching bags cracks me up every time. I could watch that all day.
# of games above 75 on Metacritic (including downloadable):

I should say it was great watching the great "hardcore gamerz" duke it out on games they never played which is usually the first round games, like DDR, Mario Kart, Guilty Gear, Smash Bros, and Soul Calibur and seeing them suck really hard. Generally all of them were PC FPS players and did well enough at those games but I remember seeing them play battlefront at times thinking how hard I could stomp them but still they had some priceless over reactions from some people.
