I'm not quite sure why PES always comes out later. Can anyone tell me why?

Anyway, I'm sorely tempted to just go out and buy FIFA already, but should I wait for PES? My brother went with PES last year, it was pretty damn good.

PES is for the pros. Fifa is for the kids. Choose and refuse.

FIFA is now the best, and PES comes out later because it always does....

Last gen, PES was about 10x better, but the gap has been closing since FIFA 08, and last year it was very close, but FIFA 10 is just a masterpiece!

Fifa is getting better and better with every release, while PES stays just as "meh" every year. The reviews reflect this, the sales reflect this. I don't really see why many people would choose Pro Evo unless they still wish it was the same series it was during the PS2 years.

Ahh whatever, it's personal choice. But the Fifa series is just better now.

As a long time PES fan, I have to say, so far, FIFA overcomes all that PES has to offer. I'll still try PES 2010 when it comes out, but FIFA 2010 is the best football game i've ever played.

Everything from the animations, the ball physics, the public, the 360 manual control of your players, the overall feeling, all feels like a real life football match ;)

PES is fun, but not for the same reasons as last gen. It's too arcadey and unrealistic now. FIFA has been better since 08.

FIFA HAVE LICENSE FOR ALL THE TEAMS AND PLAYERS. PES DONT. PEOPLE CHOOSE FIFA BECUASE THEY CAN PLAY A LICENSED RONALDO. YOU CAN NEVER MAKE A REAL-LIFE TACTIC FOR YOUR TEAM IN FIFA, BUT IN PES IT`S POSSIBLE BECAUSE IT`S MORE ADVANCED, AND STOP TRYING TO MAKE REVIEWS AND SALES DEFINE WHAT GAME IS BEST. JUST LOOK AT THE LITTLE FELLOW FROM USA THAT REVIEWED DEMON`S SOUL`S 60/100 BECAUSE IT WAS TOO HARD???!!. FIFA IS EASY. PES IS HARDCORE. JUST ASK PEOPLE THAT GREW UP WITH SOCCER LIKE ME.

So the Fifa series has a sales gap of millions because people want to play as Ronaldo? Do you really believe that, or do you just use that as an excuse for Fifa pulling ahead? Reviews aren't always spot on, but when you have the humongous gap in reviews that the Fifa and Pro Evo series have, you have to wonder. One guy giving an average score for Demon's Souls doesn't discredit all reviews, especially when the game has received exceptional reviews from the majority of reviewers. I don't care whether a game is "easy" or "hardcore," and neither do the vast majority of people. I'd rather play a really great easy game than a "meh" hardcore game any day. And do you really think that you're so special because you grew up with soccer? Millions of people have grown up with the sport, and they seem to be picking the Fifa series these days (going back to my original point about sales). Now, sales don't always indicate quality, but they often do in sports games (you see this in the superior sales of the NHL, NBA 2K, and Fifa series). Oh wait, so the personal opinions of millions of people don't matter, but your opinions do? Just making sure. And by the way, I have nothing against you using only caps. Just makes you look like a rambling fanboy.

I grew up with soccer like you, hell, my whole country revolves around soccer. My favourite team is FCPorto and I support them to death.
I've loved PES since the SNES ISS days, and to me it has always been the best soccer game, until PES 09.

But FIFA 2010 has taken it another step further. You call it easy? Have you played it yet? It's the most complete football game ever, and the most realistic one too. As I said, I'll get PES too, for my PC, and will give a better analysis of the game then, but so far, FIFA 2010 has given me the best football experience i've ever had.

Oh by the way, if you want to doubt my word, I've participated in most PES tourneys in my country since the PES 5 days. If you want, we'll fire up PES 09 and play a match ;)

And Ronaldo has been licensed in the past few PES games....

I had FIFA 2001-2006, PES 4-2009, and now FIFA 09-10, and FIFA is now better, and it is nothing to do with being a casual player. Yes FIFA still lags behind in terms of tactics, but its gameplay is so much better

And if you know anything about the game, it is FOOTBALL! What do you think FIFA stands for?
