inFamous had some really nice controls. If you consciously think of a sweet way to handle something you could do it. I can't imagine how much better it would have been with some bullet time.

If you're an old SEGA fan, then I highly recommend the Sega Master Collection ;). But more seriously, have you given 'Shatter' a look - it's a brilliant game on the PSN, cheap as chips, and a lot of fun, with some pretty sharp presentation to boot. Check out some reviews before you get it to check it's your thing, as there's no demo, but it's the game not already mentioned here (I think) that is a standout winner.
I am in the exact same boat as you. Having played on the PC since I was a teen and having played and been happy with the Wii for a couple of years, I bought a PS3 when the price dropped. Like you, based on friends' and reviewers' recommendations, I have been jumping from game to game trying to find something I enjoy. So far, I have only really enjoyed Fallout 3 (which I could have gotten for the PC anyway).
I am waiting for Dragon Age: Origins (which releases in a couple of days--two weeks earlier on the PS3 than on the PC) to see if BioWare can create a truly great roleplaying experience like they did with Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate on the PC. If this game doesn't do it for me, I fear the PS3 will be relegated to the role of a BluRay player for the majority of its use.
Wow man. i have to say you are very hard to please :S
You may wanna have a look at InFamous that games RUUUlES other than that you'll just have to
take a few chances
Maybe you should consider selling your PS3 back? The games you don't like are the main reasons why the PS3 shines.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.

I agree with dbot, try the demos and look up some trailers from psn if nothing appeals then you could just sell it to someone?
You could try the "sega megadrive collection" if you like the old games so much also. :)
