Forums - Nintendo - Ant n Dec advertising Wii this holiday season in U.K.

This won't mean much to the VGC users who don't reside in the U.K. Nintendo is continuing their policy of advertising the Wii in the U.K. using household name celebs. I think this is a good idea this holiday and the adverts seem well made and not just aimed at families this time. They show actual gameplay and by the look of it Ant and Dec do actually both play the Wii outside of the commercials. Ant seems quite good at hula-hoop.

I have nothing against Ant and Dec but the shows they appear in are so dumb it hurts me, they represent TV which i absolutely hate, but they are ridicilously popular so it could have some impact

I thought the Patrick Stewart and Nicole Kidman ads were pretty good. The DS will be king again if they continue along those lines.



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Nintendo have huge ads on youtube today. They must have paid a fortune. I think this campaign is going to work a treat.

I saw these too! I think their Christmas advertising campaign is getting into full swing. Looking good so far.
