Microsoft gave it their best shot and they did much better this generation then they did last, but playstation is still WAY to big in Japan to be beaten by a Xbox.

yes i think so, but they did release as far as i am concerned the best rpg in quite a long time "lost odyssey". :)
i just put some money on white knight chronicles today, going to get my 1st ps3 either late this year or early next year.

After the PS3 has managed to outsell the wii in japan this year, japanese publishers are definetely coming towards PS3 instead of 360

Exactly. This was a great push by Microsoft, and it showed the game industry not to sleep on the Xbox brand, but it's still not able to push it's way into Sony's/Nintendo's market in Japan, and justifiably so, but this was a really great effort on Microsoft's part, and will gear them up for the next generation, or later in the X360's lifetime.

actually they are working on a new IP(maybe it's thier second project beside Blue Dragon 2) - it looks more mature and dark than both their 360 games. you can find some artworks and info on blogs on their website.

They gave it their best, and their best wasn't good enough. I doubt we'll see any more timed exclusive JRPGs anymore.
