Forums - Sony - Microsofts RPG influence.. gone?

Hey Guys,

We all know it - Tales of Vesperia will be launched on PS3 in Japan soon (or did it already?), and Star Ocean is following too.

And then.. the Rumor´s, that Mass Effect 2 will hit PS3..

do you think that MS has given up to gather RPG´s for themselves? (i mean, it was not that effective at all.)

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

I agree with you. M$ thought Playstaion sold because of the PRG's and boy was they right. but spliting the RPG base in to two leaves a too small a base on each console to even bother fighting over. Deffo because RPG's tend to do better in Japan. Somewhere the 360 was never going to do well. In americas case they are all too Shooter happy lately

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I didn't work out.

4 ≈ One

MS was gathering the JRPG's in a atemp to gather the Japanese interest, it didnt work and 360 basically done in Japan there not wasting anymore time and i doubt Japan will fall for the timed exclusive trick a 3rd time..there already pissed

yes...!!

JRPG influence, definitely.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Nope, not gone. I give them credit for trying to penetrate the Japanese market. They just need to know how to sell in Japan.

Apparently ...

with Demon Soul on PS3 and all the 360 exclusivities going multiplateform or being quite average to avoid being rude.

If you want an RPG, mainly considering Demon Soul exclusivity, you should buy a PS3 now.

Time to Work !

Microsoft still win at WRPG's. But the days of MS having the best JRPG's are long gone, the PS3 has far more coming up.

i dont really play rpgs at all like i tried getting into mass effect kinda wasnt my type of game

but i am really interested in demon souls which surprising to me i dont know maybe the character and the theme of the game i like

i think i remember likeing deus ex tho on pc but that was like action adventure with a little bit of role playing
