Man a lot of people like to throw dirt on Nintendo now huh? They beat the PS3 this week and have a huge lead in the generation and people still talk about it like its the GameCube lol.
Huge fall from 2008? No shit. When u reach the hights they have been at, since lanuch really, theres ganna be a pretty hard fall at some point.
Nice to see PS3 doing well though. I just bought one and i do love it....Almost as much as my Wii... ;0)

Hey don't deny me from throwing dirt at stuff. It's the only entertainment I have now days.
LOL...The Wii had a year, last year, that is going to be VERY hard to match. First off...it was STILL very hard to get one last year, whereas it's almost always stocked nowadays. I think the console is still on track to do 80 million LTD sales easily, but it's not going to do gangbusters as in the past, especially with M$ and Sony encroaching even harder on it.

No, you're missing the real reason Wii's sales fell this year, weakness of its software lineup, this year Wii was very weak, they stumbled with music and animal crossing, however that seems to be changing, with the games coming out

LOL..it would say great, but surprising...there was always this expectation that a price cut for the PS3 would "solve" the equation...seems like NA really likes the 360, and it's not just a price issue...which bodes well for the 360 when it cuts prices next year/ releases Natal. PAL is another story, as M$ still has alot of work needed there.
@ Avinash...hmmm...I think it's more than software, since the Wii was selling out like hotcakes, even when it first launched with very limited software. I think better software will help boost sales, but I'm not sure if 2008 wasn't a banner year for the Wii...regardless of software.

@Avinash: Which games are coming out this Holiday season other than NSMBWii that could have an effect? you are talking as if Wii is going to have such a great line-up this year compared to last.
Wii Fit+ didn't even push a single console, as sales were down from last week. You need to check out reality and stop hoping that your predictions will come true. They won't and not even close.

Wii is going to do very well, but I'm not sure it's even going to top PS2, much less top all three consoles.
